Has anybody else noticed that when loading a jpg/png file into the media panel it is only giving a poor res version - around 270 pixel square, even if the file is at something like 2000 pixel wide?

I tried with a variety of different files, formats, and sizes. All would be compressed down to below 300 pixels.

Movie files and gifs seem unaffected.

media folders are giving a better res, but the media panel reads a different res to the file contained within the folder (1280x720).

Can anyone else confirm this?

Did you notice Image maximum rendering size in Modul8 Preferences --> Medias?

Hi Pierre, thanks. That was indeed my issue. I just found it - I was rendering a small video so had set it tiny - then forgot to change it back!!

All good now.
