problems starting program
had to force quit 4 times
froze when opening rc1 doc, had more force quits

It worked after 9 force quits and restarts

runs normally so far I will carry on testing.

closed m8 and opened by clicking a doc results in windows opening dark and not responsive - this happens every time (tried 6 times then got bored)

Works normally when I open M8 first

Also where has the preview panel in preferences gone?

I had the same black screen today when first opening up an older doc (beta RC1). Quit and restarted as new project and all is well. Have not tried another older project yet. - John

Just to test, I tried to open an pre-RC-2 project, and it froze the program. Had to force quit.

If i copy the activated Layer i have problems to get a copy of it, if i press the + Button sometimes i get a blank slot not a copy of the activated Layer. What can i do to get a copy with one click?

What is the best codec to run modul8 in 1920x1080 with the best speed?

You can duplicate a layer by clicking the button with two plusses that next to the layer delete button.
