we have a type of sk9822 led chips,
it is almost the same as the APA102,
But they claim SK9822 is the upgraded version of APA102,
could it use the same apa102 protocol for sk9822 IC,
and how to controller SK9822 with MadMapper software,
any videos about it it would be much help.

Support for SK9822 has been added to FastLED library in april 2016 (https://github.com/FastLED/FastLED/comm ... 4ec68fcfb6), so you should update the library, modify the arduino patch to specify SK9822 and upload it to the teensy and that should be ok.
