Hello, I love the new tweaks and tune-ups just amazing work.

Just wondering if there’s a way I can change the aspect ratio for the new materials plugins that got places in mad mapper 2.5

I’m trying to get a 16x9 instead a 4x3, when I upload the shapes material and switch the square to a circle it wont fit as a 4x3 on a 16x9 aspect ratio on a 1920x1080 project,

Is there any way to make all materials 1920x1080

glad you like it !

A material is not like a video media, you can edit it aspect ratio the way you want by scaling the uv's in the preview without any pixel lost.

You can do the scaling inside or outside the material

I'm working on a led installation and I've created my visual content as a 1920x1080.
I'm using one fixture to control the led's but when I switch from my content to the materials since it's a 4x3 to a 16.9 ratio things get messy any recommendations

Hi,

Merry Christmas !

To resolve your issue you can simply use two different fixtures (or fixture groups), one with your content and the other one with the material and then use some controls to activate or deactivate each fixture (or fixture group). This way you can have full control on what ratio fits you at any time with any type of media by setting them up per fixture (or fixture group).

Ok you can use the "Force media ratio to" option in master tab (set it to 19 / 9) and all medias would have 16:9 ratio.
