Etherdream looses connection

Hi There.
We are running Madlaser with 3 Etherdreams on windows 11. From time to time an Etherdream stops working, but continue to say connected in Madmapper. We then have to set the connection to None and then back to the right Etherdream again to get it to work.

Is it a bug in Madlaser or Etherdream firmware?

known bug in etherdream firmware.
We "could" fix it by rewriting the driver entirely.

I'm getting the same sort of problem, it doesn't seem to happen as much when I'm using the standard materials, but if I try to use a material and or something with lots of points it drops out. Sometimes I can bring it back by changing the destiation to none, then back to the etherdream, but this doesn't always work. The Etherdream sometimes says Status:Disconnected, in which case I need to drop the power to the etherdream to get it back... Any thoughts as to why this might be happening?

If I put the PPS up to 45 kpps it happens almost immediately, at 30kpps its less frequent.

We had similar issues with Etherdream - it showed as connected, but was not outputting anything. Only resolution was to reboot the Etherdream hardware.

Fortunately the lasers were not suspended from the ceiling, which would have made them completely unaccessible.

Will need to use some kind of remote control 120V mains supply in the future unless this is fixed.
