Animating Line Shapes

Hi
thanks for creating MadLaser. Finally a Laser software that doesn't look like Win98! And has some sweet features (i.e. describing animations in code).
However I might have run into limitations or maybe didn't fully understand the potential, hence a few questions:

* Is there a way to animate Laser Lines? Or is it meant that you draw them once and then that's it, they sit there stationary? Only coming to live as a line-sized masks on a material.

* If I use the vector-tracing of video files, how can I apply FX then? Basically using external video animation to take the role of this animated Laser Line
For example to show an animated bubble. I'm wondering how to control the Colour or the brightness of the laser beam while it is "drawn". If for example I want to give my bubble a dotted outline.
Of course I can do that in e.g. Resolume and spout it over, but the tracer would go wild if for example I change the dot width or add some strobing..

Would be great to learn about this!
thanks,
Marcel

You can use Cues (or Timeline from MadMapper 6.0) to animate lines until you don't change the number of handles in the pathes.

From MadMapper 6.0 you can use the "Laser FX" visual in the Laser Generator section to apply a line FX and texture a vector visual.
For an animation you can also use After Effects / Body Movin plugin to export a Lottie file, then MadMapper can play it back without vectorizing, it's vector content.
For example to show an animated bubble. I'm wondering how to control the Colour or the brightness of the laser beam while it is "drawn". If for example I want to give my bubble a dotted outline.
You can use the "Laser FX" generator for that in MadMapper 6
