Show Input Mesh and Link input-output mesh missing in Madlaser?

Why are Show Input Mesh and Link Input-Output Mesh functions missing from Laser Quads?

I often do lasermapping of complex building facades and common to videomapping it is easier to do the mapping by chopping the surfaces into smaller sections. Having an input mesh makes things easier, but this is not available in Madlaser?

Also, why is there no automatic masking of items lower on the surfaces list by items higher?

Does the lack of these functions significantly reduce the flexibility and accuracy of mapping, especially for complex surfaces? Does the developer have plans to add them in future updates? That's not my Neighbor

I think the inoput mesh was removed for no particular reason. We will look into that.

also, a "over" blend mode for laser surfacxes would be super cool./

Hi,
We're about to release MadMapper 5.6.8 with the feature. Thanks for the feedback

The feature is there in the latest version, but it doesn't seem to work as I would have expected. When adding warping points to the input mesh it doesn't exclude what is not needed. It still displays everything that is within the main square/rectangle of the quad. Nothing is 'cut out'. This is something that works with video quads.

Indeed this is a bug. We'll fix it. Actually you can add a mask to remove what you don't want to see.
