I would love to see osc in madmapper.
It would be nice to get away from the computer and use the touch osc for ipad to map my content. getting up and close to my subject to get just that extra pixel at its place would be sweet

I use TouchOSC and Osculator combined to control my Cursor and a percentage of the functionality for shows...

This allows for iPad control out in the field, up close and personal, and means I can map much more precisely

Distance seems ok at 30-40 metres - not done much more than that, but i suppose you could have your router 'amplified'

Being able to do 'fine' close up pixel precise mapping is a real bonus.

hey!
I very successfully use a Ipad + iTeleport (or every other VNC software) + a Linksys WRT 54GL router for full control of MM!!!

but a full MIDI/ OSC (used with a clean mapping preset in Lemur or touchOSC) access to MadMapper is more easily to handle...


EDIT: my range goes up to 30-40 meter (depending of the wind and near obstacles)

Hi, I'd like to bump up this request. I know the recent build has some OSC input but in my humble opinion the number one most useful osc input would be to control the individual vertices of the output mesh, allowing for mapping away from the laptop screen.
